A MONUMENT TO HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING
According to the Greeks, we stole fire from the gods, and the hero who did the deed paid a high price. We continue to pay the price. For being warm, and eating hot food, and making glass and smelting metal, and powering our cars, and subduing our victims, we pay with our very world, consuming everything that burns, turning the gifts to gas and ash.
Brass, Bronze, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Lignam Vita (Wood), Pearl, Tiger-Eye, Optical Glass. $1100
